The Best Bars in Sacramento Near The Strand

Now that Sacramento is finally back open, your favorite restaurants and bars near The Strand are coming back. We can’t think of a more exhilarating way to spend a leisurely afternoon or exciting evening out than enjoying craft cocktails served right here in Sacramento. From happy hours with friends to celebrating your new apartment at The Strand in West Sacramento, here is a list of some of our favorite local bars.

Drake’s: The Barn

Meet you at the Barn! One of The Strand’s favorite neighborhood spots is located right here in West Sacramento, Drake’s: The Barn. A large lawn with outdoor dining, fire pit, live entertainment, and the best local brews. With over 25+ beers on tap, wine, and cocktails, you can not complain. Thankfully, only 2 miles away from your Strand apartment.

Trophy Club

Trophy Club is Sacramento’s first member’s only speakeasy located in DOCO Sacramento. Are you wondering how you can enter? There will be intermittent password access that is announced via their social media. Trophy Club offers a bespoke cocktail experience under the care of a master mixologist without the regular crowd and rush of the typical downtown bar.

Honey & The Trap Cat

Honey and The Trap Cat is an underground restaurant and bar located in Old Sacramento Waterfront. A great place to enjoy their outdoor patio for happy hour and sip on a crafted cocktail from one of their talented bartenders. Our favorite part about Honey and The Trap Cat is that they are a menu-less cocktail bar where they create a special cocktail just for you! They are open from Tuesday- Sunday, 4 PM to 2 AM, stop by and enjoy for yourself!
